The IN-WALL speaker, as the name suggests, is a speaker designed to be recessed in a wall or ceiling. With its compact size and discreet design, it can replace a more conventional speaker. The 165 RO PRO is easily mounted by creating a perfectly round hole with a diameter of 209 mm. To assist you, a paper template is provided with all the speakers. After that, simply remove the magnetic protective grille. Once the grille is removed and the speaker is wired (either by soldering or using a terminal), only a Phillips screwdriver is needed. Just turn the 4, 6, or 8 screws (depending on the model) so that small hooks secure the speakers in place.
INWALL speakers like the 165 RO PRO do not claim to replace bookshelf speakers, which have optimized enclosure volume and filters. However, special care has been taken to ensure their sound quality: Woven Kevlar fiber woofer, adjustable textile dome tweeter. The intrinsic characteristics of the speakers used allow them to work well with both a nearly infinite or reduced rear load. Depending on the rear volume, the level of bass frequencies will be slightly modified.
